Terms of Service

Last updated: September 12, 2026

These terms govern your use of the FiberFlow Android app and the website at fiberflow.techjeeper.com, published by TechJeeper. By installing or using FiberFlow, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

The service

FiberFlow helps you catalog yarn, import patterns, track projects, and organize related crafting data on your Android device. Most features work locally on your phone or tablet. Optional connections to Ravelry and Google Drive require a working internet connection and your separate accounts with those services.

Optional Google Drive backup

If you connect Google Drive, FiberFlow uses Google OAuth so you can upload a backup ZIP to a FiberFlow folder in your Drive and restore it on another device. With Keep devices in sync on, the app can also pull a newer Drive copy when you open FiberFlow and upload when you leave. This uses the drive.file scope, so the app can only access files it creates (the FiberFlow folder and fiberflow-backup.zip). It does not get access to the rest of your Drive.

  • Connecting Drive is optional. You can keep using local backups instead.
  • Uploads use your Google Drive storage quota. Large pattern PDFs count against that quota.
  • Restoring from Drive, or taking the Drive copy during a sync conflict, replaces the FiberFlow library currently on that device.
  • If both a phone and Drive have changes, FiberFlow cannot merge them. You choose which library to keep.
  • Disconnecting Drive in the app does not delete the backup file. You must delete it in Drive if you want it gone.
  • Google may change, limit, or interrupt Drive access. FiberFlow is not responsible for Google outages, quota limits, or files you delete from Drive.

Your use of Google Drive is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service.

Your content

You keep ownership of the yarn notes, photos, patterns, and other content you add. You are responsible for having the rights needed to import, store, back up, and restore that content — including pattern PDFs and photos. Do not use FiberFlow to copy or share patterns in a way that violates a designer’s copyright or license.

You grant TechJeeper only the limited permission needed to operate features you choose, such as storing data on your device or uploading a backup you start or that Keep devices in sync uploads when you leave the app. We do not claim ownership of your crafting library.

Ravelry and other third-party services

Optional Ravelry features require a Ravelry account and are subject to Ravelry’s terms. Connecting Ravelry lets you import library data you choose and add, push, or pull individual yarn and project entries. FiberFlow is not affiliated with Ravelry or Google and is not responsible for those services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse FiberFlow, including by attempting to disrupt the app, abuse third-party APIs through it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Disclaimer

FiberFlow is provided “as is.” We work to keep backups and sync reliable, but we do not warrant that the app, Google Drive uploads, or restores will be error-free or always available. Keep a local backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechJeeper is not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from your use of FiberFlow, including data lost during a restore or because a Drive backup is missing, overwritten, or unavailable.

Termination

You may stop using FiberFlow at any time by uninstalling the app and, if you connected Google or Ravelry, disconnecting those accounts in Settings or through the provider’s permission pages. We may stop offering the app or a feature, including Drive backup, if a platform or API requires it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of FiberFlow after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the developer contact option on the FiberFlow Google Play listing or in the FiberFlow Discord.
